COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

In light of the current situation, heightened COVID 19 precautionary measures are in place to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff.

At Thomson Fertility Centre, we take utmost priority in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. We have put in place the necessary precautionary measures to help you feel at ease during your treatment with us.

*Only 1 accompanying companion allowed per patient.

Patient Pre-Screening

The clinic will call every patient to check on their well-being 1 day prior to their appointment.

If you are feeling unwell or have any travel or contact history in the last 5 days, please inform the clinic so we can reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Staff Screening

All our staff are required to:

  • Wear surgical masks at all times
  • Record travel history
  • Take medical leave if unwell

Entry Screening

All patients and companions are required to use SafeEntry/TraceTogether app to check in and check out at the clinic entrance.

[Updated April 2022]

Please reschedule your appointment if:

  • You are currently having a fever (temperature higher than 37.5 degrees), cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell, sneezing, shortness of breath OR difficulty in breathing.
  • You are currently on any of the following: Stay-Home-Notice (SHN), Home Recovery Program (HRP), Health Risk Notice (HRN) or Isolation Order (IO).
  • You have been in contact with someone who is ART positive or a suspected/confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in the last 5 days.
  • If you have ever been tested positive on ART/PCR, or recovered from COVID-19, please inform our staff your date tested.

Sanitisation of Premises

  • Doctors are required to sanitise their hands before and after every patient, as per current practice.
  • Staff are required to sanitise or wash with soap & water frequently throughout the day.
  • Cleaning of surfaces with disinfectants 3 times a day:
    • Treatment bed & buzzer (disinfected after every patient)
    • Treatment station table tops
    • Waiting room couches
  • At the end of each day, the clinic is mopped and cleaned with disinfectants.
  • Waste is carefully disposed while wearing gloves and masks.

We hope to continue serving our patients with minimal disruption to their treatment plans while keeping up with the necessary precautionary measures.

As the Covid-19 situation is constantly evolving, we will monitor advisories from MOH closely and update accordingly. In the meantime, stay well, stay healthy and stay safe!
